Anticipation

Have you ever been waiting for something for a long time? Perhaps it’s a special trip you’ll be going on later in the year. Maybe it’s the birth of a child or grandchild. Finishing your education… The list could go on and on. For me, I’ve been anticipating something for eight years – seeing one of my favorite books I wrote to be published. That dream will come true tomorrow when Taming Julia releases as an ebook and then again on March 1st when it’s released in print.

I’ve always loved reading mail-order bride stories and I had such fun writing this one. Here’s a little bit about it:

In 1875, Kansas bachelor Drew Montgomery’s sole desire is to serve God, but his congregation’s ultimatum that he marry or leave, forces him to advertise for a wife by proxy.

Jules Walker strides into Drew’s life wearing breeches and toting a gun and saddle–more cowboy than bride. After years on the trail, she’s not exactly wife material, but she longs for home and family, and will do anything to ensure Drew never discovers what she really is.

Jules was such a fun, delightful character to write. She’s full of all kinds of quirks. Just the kind of character I like. 🙂

I’d love for you to pick up a copy and let me know what you think of Taming Julia.
