Natalie O'Ryan never planned on returning to Prince Edward Island. When her fiancé suggests they marry on the island, she has a hard time telling him why her homeland holds painful memories. The couple arrive weeks before their wedding to arrange all the details. What she hadn't counted on was being partnered with her old friend when business calls her intended away from the island.
The last thing Justin Kane ever wanted was to help the woman he loves prepare things for her upcoming marriage. His heart was broken when she ran away without a word. Can he work through the pain of their past and start to forgive her?
I found On Love's Gentle Shore to be a fun book that brought in the characters from the first two books in the series as well. Liz succeeded to move me from laughter to tears as I went along with the journey of Natalie and Justin as they found their way back together again. What a beautiful story of God's unconditional love for us.
