A little over a week ago, on Palm Sunday, I received 'the call' that every author longs for. My agent called to let me know that one of my full length novels is being picked up by Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas for their Smitten Line.
This story is set in the backdrop of the 1893 Cherokee Strip Land Run. It's one that is particularly meaningful to me since it's the one my mother-in-law always hoped I'd write. While, she didn't live to see this day, I can't help but think of her. When my book releases next year, it will coincide with the 125th anniversary of this last great land race.
